  That is so true because when they eliminate the Deity of Christ, they eliminate a personal relationship with Jesus, talking to Jesus, calling on Him, worshipping Jesus, giving glory and honor to Jesus, surrendering ones life to Him, that leaves a gap. A great big empty spot in the heart of the believer. It did me. I missed out on so much .....so did my children.

  I have friends now who raised their children in the joy of the Lord, singing and praising Jesus. The children are so happy and free and filled with joy. Thank God my children are raising their children to know the true joy of the Lord! They are so happy! Not one of my grandchildren have sat through a "meeting". They are taught that God is love, love is kind, and life is beautiful!

  Visual Methodologies and Watchtower Illustrations

  i have been reading a fascinating book about various strategies for studying the meaning of images: visual methodologies by gillian rose.

  various approaches covered include compositional analysis, content analysis, psychoanalysis, semiology and discourse analysis.

  it struck me how ripe watchtower imagery would be to such scrutiny, and how subtle trends in ideological emphases may be identified through the visual iconography that may be less apparent in the overt expositions of watcthower written texts.

  Dude my head hurts after reading all those big words.

  I do get it though. My questions; How much psychological manipulation does the Watchtower writers and illustrators put into it? How much are they aware of the psychological manipulation? Is it all just so deeply rooted in them that this is simply a natural expression of their honest beliefs?

  well, that's what my wife tells me anyway.

  i just bought a new bike yesterday.

  i have to wait about a week and a half before it comes in, but i think i can manage.. here it is plain from the factory:.

  We did have an accident on the River Run to Laughlin and Oatman. It was not bad though, landed on my feet. Cadi pulled out in front of us. We looked so scarey he seemed to think about leaving the scene but drove to the other side of the street and locked his doors. My sweet husband convinced him not to worry that we were ok (I was ready to smack him), even the bike was ok which was a shocker since we hit pretty hard. We use helmets. I even use a helmet when I ride a horse. I've been broken and torn up with horses but given the chance I'll be right back up there.

  What about carnivorous Fish? Who made flesh eating diseases. We're these diseases vegetarian at one time?

  According to the creation account there were no diseases. Also a result of evil entering the world. Depending on the disease, many are a result of mutations. Errors in the original code. I have a disease that came about because of a mutation in my DNA at the C282Y gene. It nearly killed me and is genetic.

  I don't see mutations as a posative thing. Over all they suck and ruin everything.

  They`d probably say that the animals were also originally vegetarian. I just wonder why he then created the lion and the tiger in the way they were made. Anyway, KW13 is right, they were designed (or evolved) to hunt and eat meat. If you were to try to feed a tiger, lion or any other predator (especially cat animals) vegetarian food, they would starve to death. Their intestines are much shorter than us plant-eaters, designed to digest meat, and meat only. Plant-eaters have longer intestines, making us able to take up all the nourishment in the plants.

  I eat a vegan diet and have lots of friends that do too. Actually it is possible for a meat eater to be a vegan. There is now even vegan dog food. My friend's dogs are doing wonderfully after many years on a well managed vegan diet. It was a surprise to me too because I thought it would be impossible. The Bible describes a vegan world for all at creation, and killing and meat eating came as a result of sin entering the world. I don't rememeber what spin the org. put on it but they were never very vegan friendly.

  Nice bike Jourles!

  Congratulations!

  We ride a bike that is not a HD or a Victory. I had my husband put thick soft silver wolf fur on the seat and back rest, (not real fur) but super soft on my tush. It is a Star whoever makes them. We are looking at touring bikes.

  ...and yes biker chics do have big boobs..but the tight leather vest keeps my girls tucked in...
